DjVuLibre tops Google Document Imaging
list "A deserving reference from people who really know
software" A reference made May 1, 2003 Google looked closely at DjVu for their catalog
search offering. The licensing deal with LizardTech did not happen, but
they learned about DjVuLibre in the process, and now DjVuLibre (not
LizardTech) gets the top ranking as a Document Imaging
source.
Yahoo, on the other hand, puts LizardTech near the
top of the list and does not mention DjVuLibre at all. No direct
experience here, we guess.
